Unboxed / Open-Box Policy

Many products on Vardiano are sold as “Unboxed” or “Open Box”. This means the item is genuine and fully working, but its original seal/packaging has been opened. This page explains exactly what that means, the condition to expect, and why it lets us offer you a great price.
1. What “Unboxed / Open Box” means
An item marked “Unboxed” or “Open Box” is one whose packaging has already been opened. Most often it was returned by an earlier shopper for a trivial reason — they changed their mind, didn't like the colour, or simply no longer needed it — not because anything was wrong with it.
Some open-box units are display or floor pieces, or overstock that was unsealed. Whatever the reason, the product itself is genuine and has not been repaired.
2. Condition you can expect
Unboxed products are generally in mint / like-new condition — think of a device you just bought that is near-pristine. Because they were briefly handled, some units may carry very light cosmetic or usage marks. This is normal for open-box goods and is not considered a defect.
Every unboxed product is put through a multi-step quality, functionality and performance check before it is listed and dispatched, so it powers on and works as intended.
The product is 100% original. It comes with its accessories; the box may be the original or a safe generic/brown box, and some non-essential inclusions may vary.
3. Open-box is NOT refurbished
“Refurbished” items are goods that were faulty and then repaired back to working condition. “Open box / Unboxed” items were simply returned or unsealed and then inspected — nothing has been repaired. The two are different, and everything we sell as Unboxed is open-box, not refurbished (unless a listing explicitly says otherwise).
4. Warranty
Warranty for each product is shown on its product page. Where brand warranty does not apply to open-box units, we may offer a limited Vardiano check/replacement window instead — the applicable cover is always stated on the listing. See our Warranty Policy for details.
5. Returns on unboxed products
Because minor cosmetic/usage marks are expected on open-box goods, such marks are not grounds for return. Unboxed items can still be returned if they arrive wrong, damaged in transit, or not working — please see our Return & Refund Policy, and record a clear unboxing video, which is required for any such claim.
